When this makes sense
You: run 1 or more WP sites (your own or a client's), want to switch host (to Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudways, Rocket.net, etc.), don't want to spend your own Saturday wrestling with DNS.
Your site: up to ~10GB total (DB + uploads). Larger sites = custom quote.
Timeline: usually 24-48 hours from kickoff. Rush jobs: $199 add-on for same-day.

- I move everything in a staging environment first, test, then cut over. Zero downtime for visitors.
- I monitor for 7 days and hand you a performance-comparison report. Any issue in that window = on me, free fix.
Frequently asked
What if my site breaks?
Won't happen on a clean migration with staging. If something does break post-cutover in the 7-day window, I fix it at no extra cost. If the break is on your end (e.g. a plugin you installed right after), I'll diagnose and quote a fix.
Do you help me pick the new host?
Yes. I'll recommend based on your traffic, budget, and whether you need multi-site / agency dashboards. See my hosting comparisons on this site for the shortlist — I have zero vendor preference.
Do I get a receipt for accounting?
Yes. Proper Canadian invoice with GST/HST if applicable (I'll ask your province).
What about WooCommerce / membership sites?
Standard $499 rate covers small shops (<500 orders/month) and basic memberships. Complex shops (many payment integrations, subscriptions, custom checkout) are custom quote — usually $799-$1,499.
What if I want staging but not migration?
Staging-only setup = $199. Useful if you're about to do a big redesign and want a safe sandbox.
